Ask anything. Trust the answer.
Six ways into one model of your business, so an answer, a report, a dashboard and an agent all draw on the same evidence and reach the same figure.
01 · Surface
Ask.
Put any question to the brain and get a direct answer, with the source and confidence attached. When it does not know, it says so and states what it would need.
Example record
Which site held the most stock of this component last week?
Site 2: 18,400 units
02 · Surface
Analyse.
Deep research and analysis over your own business. Ask it something that would take an analyst a week: what is really driving the margin drop across our sites, what our exposure looks like if this supplier fails, the board pack for next year’s plan.
It works the way a good analyst does. It reads across everything the business holds, plans its approach, does the work, and checks itself before handing it over. Where the answer is not in your business at all, it says so, offers to go and find it, and keeps what it finds outside clearly separate from what it knows about you.
03 · Surface
Surfaces.
Dashboards and instruments that stay live. Describe what you want to see and it is built from the model, moves as the business moves, and changes as your questions change. No build cycle, no reporting project.
04 · Surface
Agents.
A worker that holds a job rather than answers a question. Give one a role, an objective and a schedule, and it works while you are elsewhere: keeping a project honest and telling you what has slipped, watching margin across the order book, holding a strategy against what is actually happening month to month. It comes back with the work done rather than a suggestion that you do it.
The approval law
An agent’s action is a proposal until someone approves it. A standing grant covers repetition, never novelty: it is per-person, revocable, and pinned to a version of a skill. Anything genuinely new requires a person. That constraint lives in the database, not in a policy document.
Example agent · morning run
06:00 · run started
objective: margin across the order book
2 findings · both under floor price
proposal drafted · routed for approval
approved · 07:12

Skills.
Save any way of asking and any piece of work, and re-run it forever. A weekly report, a board pack, a lens on how your organisation reads numbers. Writing one takes a sentence, not syntax.
06 · Instrumentation
The instrument, instrumented.
07 · Tooling
Instruments built on the brain.
If it can read from the brain, it can be built on it. A credit cockpit for the finance team, a shipment console for the yard, a production board for the factory floor, a pricing calculator for sales: instruments shaped to one job, drawing on everything the brain knows and writing back what they do. The brain is the foundation. What stands on it is up to you.
Today
We build them with you: shaped to the job, reconciled exactly against the data underneath.
Coming
Describe a tool in plain language and get a real one back, built over your brain and governed the same way.
The safety model bounds what a tool can reach, not what it can express. Every call runs under the viewing person’s own clearance, and the tool never holds a credential.
