The work is done before you ask.
Hand off the routine. Agents prepare reports, flag problems, follow up on your behalf and take care of daily tasks, within limits you set. Give one a role, an objective and a schedule, and it works while you are elsewhere, coming back with the work done rather than a suggestion that you do it.
01 · A standing job
A role, an objective, a schedule.
An agent holds a job rather than answers a question. Every morning it reviews the numbers, says what has slipped and why, and sends you the note. What it may do is exactly the authority you grant it, and nothing more.
Example standing job
Example agent · morning run
06:00 · run started
objective: margin across the order book
2 findings · both under floor price
morning note sent · 06:04
proposal drafted · routed for approval
approved · 07:12
02 · Within limits you set
You decide what it does on its own.
Standing approval covers what repeats, never what is new: it is per person, revocable at any time, and pinned to one version of the task. Anything new comes to a person first, and the rule lives in the brain, not in a policy document.
What an agent holds privately, its instructions and its files, stays private to it and apart from the brain by construction. What it may touch, the brain and the systems beyond it, is granted per agent, and so is where it may act.
A few of the things it takes on
03 · Wherever you are
Nobody has to learn a new system.
